Fertility Coach Moves From Trying to Conceive to Conceiving a Better...

May 5, 2005 -- It is often said that everything happens for a reason. When Angela Deldin and her husband were trying unsuccessfully to have a baby, finding a reason for their struggle was very hard. But after finding the support she needed to remain positive and strong helped Angela to finally have a child, the reason suddenly became very clear. She decided that she now wanted to help other women overcome the emotional challenges of infertility to regain joy and happiness in their lives. She trained to become a fertility coach and now works with women on developing the skills they need to proceed positively through infertility.



"When you are dealing with infertility, you can feel very alone," Angela says. "Your life becomes completely focused on treatment cycles, doctor appointments and wanting a baby. Many women feel overwhelmed with anxiety, pain and grief. They need help regaining control of their lives and well being."



Supporting women through the emotional struggles of infertility is the focus of Angela's coaching practice, Living Beyond Conception. She works with her clients to help them make decisions, overcome challenges, minimize stress and achieve their goals. "It is my desire to help my clients get their lives back," says Angela. "My job is to look after their whole selves, not just their reproductive selves."



Coaching sessions are conducted over the phone, which allows Angela to work with women from all over the country. Her clients set the agenda and lead the conversation to cover those areas most critical at the time. According to Angela, "The focus is always on the clients' needs. Together, we work to discover the tools required to stay motivated towards their goals and actually start enjoying their lives again." Her clients appreciate talking to someone who has 'been there' and who truly understands what they are going through.
