Minnesota Resort on Lake Vermilion Offers New ReunionChaletRetreat...

Pehrson Lodge a northern Minnesota resort (http://www.pehrsonlodge.com/index.html) has opened one of the largest family reunion rentals (http://www.pehrsonlodge.com/minnesota_cabins/minnesota_reunion_cabin.html) in northern Minnesota. The Grand Vermilion Chalet features 12 bedrooms and 10 baths and is built to embrace the ambiance of the northern lakes experience while honoring the resort'ss historic past.

We wanted a place to host large groups as well as offer the meeting space where families and corporate groups could enjoy their time together, says Eric Hanson, owner of Pehrson Lodge.

Grand Vermilion Chalet is comprised of four adjoining townhouses that, when rented in their entirety, can sleep over 30 people. The lower walkout level has a large meeting space which will accommodate 70 people with a catering kitchen, restrooms and outdoor patio. The upper levels feature knotty pine interiors, cathedral ceilings, central air, full kitchens, fireplaces and a large deck overlooking the lake with a built-in fireplace.

The Grand Vermilion is generally reserved as one unit for large family reunions or retreat groups. Guests can rent the units individually, or by small groups when available. Cooking can be done within the facility or may be catered from area restaurants.

A family reunion vacation is very popular. We see more and more families planning to spend their vacations together. Lake Vermilion is one of the best family reunion locations-with great fishing, a variety of activities and a chance to enjoy nature in its wilderness state, says Hanson.

The units of Grand Vermilion Chalet may be rented weekly during the summer season and nightly or weekly during the spring, autumn and winter.

Pehrson Lodge is offering a reduced rate for the Grand Vermilion Chalet when booked during the autumn, winter and spring months. Guests may save up to 35 percent off the nightly rate starting in September.
