Snowboarders around the globe this weekend will no longer sit on their hands and wait patiently for news on the Ticket To Ride (TTR) 6-Star Nissan X-Trail in Tokyo to filter from Japanese media to a reachable platform. Method.tv will have exclusive fresh video footage and reports available to the world before others by Midnight Saturday, central European time.
Video reports on the event, as well as the current TTR World Tour leader results, are scheduled to be posted on Method.tv and Methodmag.com on Sunday, December 9, and Monday, December 10. Method.tv is the only snowboard media platform in the world outside of Japan to have unique and exclusive coverage.
"I'm stoked to be editing one of the most highly-regarded events of the season," says Method.tv co-producer, Richard Prendergast. "Whatever we get, I know it will be amazing action to work with and deliver to our audience."
The TTR World Snowboard Tour, the largest group of independent freestyle snowboard events in world, teamed up with media partner Method.tv to develop a plan able to deliver timely reports for the Nissan X-Trail. In the past, footage of TTR events held in Japan was stalled from international release until Japanese media passed along broadcasting material.
For the first time, snowboard fans worldwide will be able to tune into Method.tv and Methodmag.com to catch the action just a few hours after it happens. Combine fans in Japan watching via Japanese media with the rest of the world tuning in to Method.tv, and one of the biggest events of the season will have a truly global audience.
