Resorts of Ontario Announces 2009 Photo Contest

Resort of Ontario (http://www.resortsofontario.com), Ontario'ss largest association of resort owners and operators is calling on all Ontario resort guests who enjoy recording their Ontario resort vacation experience with their camera, to enter their photographs into Resorts of Ontario'ss photography contest that is being held this season. The photo contest is open to all 2009 guests of any one of Resort of Ontario'ss 100 member resorts and country inns. Resort guests are invited to submit original photos that they have taken during the 2009 season that showcase their Ontario resort experience. The contest begins May 1, 2009 and runs until September 15, 2009. Winners will be chosen by October 1, 2009 and the total prize giveaway is valued at $1500.

The Resorts of Ontario photo contest allows each photography contestant to submit up to ten photos for consideration. The photographic image can be virtually anything related to the guest'ss Ontario resort experience, such as sporting activities, resort images including landscapes, gardens and resort facilities, fish and wildlife photos, or shots of resort guests with the resort property visible in the background. Practically any photo subject that best reflects a family friendly stay at an Ontario resort or an Ontario country inn would be suitable for contest entry. Only new and original work will be accepted. Employees of Resorts of Ontario or member resorts are ineligible.

Our photo contest has 2 purposes; first it encourages new people to experience parts of Ontario they might not have otherwise and second it gets people remembering a recent experience and hopefully they will decide to go back to a resort again in the near future to try and live a similar event, states Resorts of Ontario Sales and Promotions Manager Barrie McAndrews.
