Sunward Aerospace announces new Ground Cover and NOMEX flameresistant...



Sunward announces additions to their line of flame resistant products for use by rocketeers. These include a new large NOMEX flame resistant blanket for ground cover protection. The second is a new 24x24 NOMEX flame resistant blanket for use in rockets up to 8 in diameter.



This new ground cover protection blanket, measuring 5 feet on each side in size, is designed for dry areas to be placed under a launch pad and is the result of consumer feedback from clients in dry and hot areas of the United States. The edges have factory edges sewn with Kevlar to help in preventing fraying.



The 24x24 flame resistant blanket also has the edges sewn with Kevlar and is designed to be used in the place of wadding or baffle systems in rockets. In order to accommodate the shock cord, a buttonhole is place on the blanket and is also sewn with Kevlar.



Both are also participating in the Special Sale until May 31, 2009.
