Zach Ashton to Headline Brazilian Music Festival Porto Alegre Brazil.



he international recording artist will be performing at the Radio PopRock 11th Anniversary Music Festival in Porto Alegre. The festival features popular music from the South of Brazil as well as other regions. Zach Ashton will be performing songs from his latest album "Just Like Beautiful" as well as previous compositions.

Los Angeles, CA, April 24, 2008 -- Zach Ashton announces he will perform in the 2008 Radio PopRock Music Festival. The festival will take place on May 10, 2008 in Porto Alegre, Brazil

Singer-songwriter Zach Ashton announces his participation at the Radio Poprock Music Festival. Ashton will perform the singles "Sugar & Spice", "Losing" and "Playground" which are tracks from his most recent album Just Like Beautiful as well as previous recordings. The international recording artist will be performing at the 11th Annual Radio PopRock Festival, an annual music festival that features popular music from various artists throughout Brazil. He will be the only international artist performing.

"Brazil is an amazing place to perform live. The fans really appreciate the music and the people are excited to see international acts," explains Zach Ashton. "We look forward to connecting with our fans in the South of Brazil for this exciting event."

Zach Ashton is no stranger to Brazil. In 2004 he recorded the album "Mellow Dia" in Sao Paulo with Brazilian producer Sergio Soffiatti. The song "Ocean" went to #2 on the Radio Atlantida Charts. Since then, he has performed throughout Brazil both on stage and on national television shows such as Jo Soares, whose audience reaches more than 11 million viewers nightly.

Zach Ashton will perform Saturday, May 10, at the open-air fairgrounds at the Airport Center. Tickets to the festival can be purchased at various locations throughout Porto Alegre. The festival is expected to draw more than 20,000 people.
