Elvis Impersonator Rocks New York City



Elvis Impersonator Jerry Papp aka "Jerry EL" a finance manager for a local car dealership, took time out of his busy schedule to entertain hundreds of fans in New York.



The show took place at the Dag Hammarsjkald Plaza in NYC, in honor of the 24th annual "Night Against Crime" a "Block Party" type of event, including dignitaries and speakers from New York, including local Police Commissioners, a representative from the Mayor's Office, and a New York Senator. The purpose was to make people aware that community involvement can stop crime.



Included in the performance was the Band Bluesmoke led by Guitarist Bill Turner formaly of " Bill Haley and the Comets ". Fans will have a chance to see this show tour, when it stops August 20th at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank New Jersey, for a 8:30pm show. Tickets are purchased through the Box Office and will include

guests Chris Presley, Andrew Howard and Jim Calaruso, who played with Elvis in 1970.
