Girl. Album by Whitney Wolanin Lands Around the World June 23

New York, NY June 22, 2009 -- Girl., EP (mini-album), the newest from Whitney Wolanin (pronunciation WHOA- Lan- in) contains songs written or co-written by the artist that connect with the Generation Y demographic. Girl. reaches retail stores such as iTunes, Amazon and other major outlets around the world on June 23, 2009.

Whitney has been on a radio tour promoting Girl., and recently made an appearance in Iceland for the 20th anniversary of Hits 975 FM'ss 20th anniversary which was also shown on European broadcast network Nova TV. So Close a song from the Girl. album will reach Hot AC and Top 40 stations in the U.S. on June 29, 2009. So Close got substantial airplay in Australia in the summer of 2008 when Whitney was on a radio tour in the country.
