Michael Jackson as the King of Pop, now moves into that rarified atmosphere where only a few, like Elvis Presley and The Beetles reside.Powers intends to hold an annual festival along the lines of those held for Star Trek and Elvis Presley. This shall include international Michael Jackson imitators vying for the annual crown of best MJ impersonator. It is anticipated that a world-wide response will come from the legion of professional and amateur Michael Jackson-style performers. Websites have been setup. It is being considered, whether there will be a permanent home for this annual festival or it will be taken on the road internationally. Early sites under consideration are Niagara Falls, (Canada), Las Vegas(USA), London(England), Amsterdam(Netherlands), Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia), Tokyo(Japan), Osaka(Japan), Santa Barbara(USA) and even Hamilton(Canada). Around this anticipated annual 3-day weekend festival there will be a number of singing contests opportunities, exhibits, costume events, parades and TV specials.

It is rumoured that Larry King and Oprah are interested in discussing this annual tribute to Michael Jackson.
