The Clarksville NAACP Political Action Committee will host its annual "How to Run For Elected Office Candidates Forum" on February 22, 2006 at the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce
Building, 312 Madison St., Clarksville, TN from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
For many of the candidates, both old and new, this will be their first opportunity to see and size up their opposition face to face since picking up their petitions to run for public
office.
Guest presenter will be Mrs. Marsha Lyle-Gonga, Political Science Instructor and Director of the Austin Peay State University, High School Upward Bound Program.
There will be a host of tips and information on how to effectively campaign for public office along with a question and answer session for all candidates who have questions.
This forum is sure to help the first time candidate as well as the veteran candidate with their campaign.
