Keren Hayesod, founded in 1920, was at the forefront of the effort to establish, and later, to further the priorities of the State of Israel. Today, with 57 campaigns in 45 countries, Keren Hayesod representatives and their local leadership and volunteers operate Israel's central fundraising organization outside of the USA.

Establishment of over 820 villages and towns in Israel, since 1921.

Support Israel (http://www.kh-uia.org.il) via Aliyah and Rescue, Advancing Israeli society through reinforcement of its weaker sectors, forging a Zionist bond between Diaspora youth and Israel.

"Aliyah" - Jewish immigration and absorption from all around the world

"Na'ale" - bringing a new generation to Israel. An exciting youth Aliyah program.

"Masa - Israel journey" - Masa offers a choice of over 120 long-term Israel programs for young Diaspora Jews aged 18-30.

"Kedma" - A yearlong absorption program targeted at young olim from Ethiopia.

"Sparks of Science" (in conjunction with the Weizmann institute and the Haifa Technion) - An extra-curricular program which provides a unique educational opportunity for new immigrant youth from Ethiopia.

"Daroma", "Tzafona" - Plans directed at stimulating the economy, increasing educational and employment opportunities and revitalizing the social composition of Israel's periphery (North and South).

Financing youth villages - For many of Israel's children, youth villages provide a one-time opportunity for a stable, enriched childhood.

Renovation of bomb shelters - In partnership with the State of Israel, Keren Hayesod Is making the renovation of public bomb shelters (especially in the north and around Gaza) a top priority.

"Net@" - Four year school program which offers comprehensive computer training to high school students

"Ayalim" - Inspired by social and Zionist ideals and assisted by Keren Hayesod and the Jewish agency, hundreds of students are answering the call to erect student villages in areas of distress.

"Etgarim" - A novel computerized learning program bringing new hope to Holocaust survivors, wounded soldiers, chronically ill children and disadvantaged youth.

The new, user-friendly website in English, soon to be in French and Spanish as well, will enable Keren Hayesod leadership, donors and supporters all over the world, to learn in real-time about Keren Hayesod programs and priorities; worldwide events, including missions and conferences; and local and regional happenings.

The website also offers TV coverage of the latest news in Israel and relevant articles from the print media as well as links to government ministries, newspapers, the Knesset, the Jewish Agency, the IDF, and other important sites.
