North Fulton Democrats host Event with Congressman John Lewis



June 3, 2005 -- The North Fulton Democrats, an active and energized organization just north of Atlanta, will host an event with Congressman John Lewis on June 25, 2005.

Congressman John Lewis is a living part of Civil Rights history, and has been described as one of the most courageous persons the Civil Rights Movement ever produced. He has been a leader in the fight for civil rights and freedom for over 40 years. He is an inspirational speaker who touches the hearts and minds of all Americans. He will make you proud, make you think, and he'll call you to action.

Congressman Lewis will be introduced by Tommy Irvin, Georgia's dedicated Commissioner of Agriculture. Commissioner Irvin is a native Georgian who has been involved in public service for almost 50 years. He has a rare sense of humor and wit, and is a landmark in Georgia politics.

Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m., with Dinner starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $100 for Adults, and $50 for students. Business attire.
