Tim Saler is a political analyst, activist, and writer. Tim's primary focus is on how government and issues affect the common person. As a Catholic, Tim is deeply concerned with how people, through government, can better take care of one another and lead better lives. Having come from a middle-class background and raised to value a hard work ethic, he firmly believes that politics and government should not be considered avenues to wealth and the abuse of power, but rather opportunities to make a difference in one's community, state, and country.
Tim is a true believer that politics is not just for the wealthy elites but rather something that all people can be involved in, from the lowest level of simply telling a neighbor about a candidate for office to running for office themselves. Despite his varied political activities, Tim believes that the most rewarding part of politics is talking to regular people about their opinions.
When he's not involved in politics, Tim is a huge sports fan. He loves to watch and play baseball, football, hockey, bowling, and billiards. He also plays guitar and bass, and he has written, recorded, and distributed four albums of original music over the past five years. He is an avid dog lover and enjoys playing with his parents' two West Highland White Terriers, Sadie and Sammy. Tim also enjoys spending time with his fiance, Tulin Ozturk.
