Hillary Clinton Continues to Remain the Most Electable Candidate According...

The website USAElectionPolls.com is created by Paul Bhatta, a former Engineer who prides himself in his knowledge of probability and estimation theory. Bhatta currently suggests that Hillary Clinton is the most electable Democrat in November.

"Hillary Clinton's electability argument is based on her ability to win the big states and according to general election matchup polls of her again John McCain, she consistently performs better than John McCain. George Bush narrowly won in 2000 thanks to Florida and in 2004 thanks to Ohio -- Clinton does better than Obama against McCain in these two states by double digits."

According to the website, Hillary Clinton performed far worse than Barack Obama in February against John McCain because she was losing a large number of states but wins in Texas and Ohio changed all of that. With seemingly unpatriotic statements by his wife and his reverend, Obama has caused a rift with Independents in the key battleground states.

Clinton is going to want Florida and Michigan's delegates to count for her to pull of the Democratic nomination and if the general election matchup polls against John McCain are any indication, Clinton is the electable candidate in that state. If the delegates from those states do not count, there may be a backlash against Obama in the general election in two key states that the Democratic party needs to win in November.
