TargetX Opens Its Users Conference to All Colleges Struggling with...

TargetX, the nation'ss leading provider of student recruiting technology and services, is hosting its 2nd annual Users Conference February 26 and 27 in Las Vegas. The college marketing firm has decided to open its sessions to non-clients so they can also benefit from a program focused on succeeding in an increasingly challenging environment for higher education.

Our Xpert Summit users conference is unique because it includes so much practical information on how to find and recruit best-fit students, said TargetX CEO Brian Wm. Niles. We spend as much time talking about industry trends and best practices as we do about TargetX.

The conference will bring together admissions and marketing officers from colleges around the country to learn how to make better use of the company'ss tools and services and to share their successes and challenges with colleagues.

While we do focus on helping clients get the most out of our products and services, much of the content is 'sbest practice's in nature, said Adrienne Bartlett, who has organized the program. We'sve asked some of our clients to present what they'sre doing to take advantage of blogs, social networks and other communication tools that work best with today'ss students.

Sessions will include:

* How to Host Successful Online Chat Events.

* Managing Student Blogs and Bloggers: What'ss Working Best.

* Search Goes Social: Incorporating the Concepts of Social Media Into Your Student Search Campaigns.

* A Review of the Creation and Management of Effective Email Campaigns.

* A Survey of Outcomes, Ideas and Best Practices for Using Social Networks to Build Dynamic Relationships with Prospects.

In addition, Niles -- one of the leading presenters and thought leaders in higher education -- will host a special session on Implementing Change and will also run an open dialogue entitled A Conversation on Yield.

Following the official close of the program, TargetX'ss Jeff Kallay will lead an Experience Excursion in Las Vegas aimed at taking cues from the city'ss unique venues and experiences and relating them to campus visit programs on college campuses. Kallay is an award-winning authority on the Experience Economy and serves as the company'ss Experience Evangelist.

TargetX customers can attend the conference for free while non-clients will pay a nominal $200 fee.
