Snitch San Diego is Back Under New Ownership
January 20, 2005 -- Snitch, San Diego's largest crime newsweekly, is back and better than ever! The publication, which launched in April 2004, took a break from printing over the holidays. It is now scheduled to publish every week starting January 26, 2005 and it will be distributed every Wednesday.
The new controlling entity, West Coast International LLC., is dedicated to bringing San Diegans' the same feisty, informative content that Snitch is known for. West Coast International has named R. Peck as their new Editor in Chief. "I am excited for the opportunity to work for a paper that is so heavily involved in the community," Mr. Peck said of his new position, "I have read Snitch in the past and am honored to be part of such an invaluable information source." Mr. Peck is a native San Diegan and has devoted the last 25 years to the care of his mother.
"I am very excited to see Snitch back in San Diego," Said Nicholas Lockwood, Marketing & Circulation Manager. "I truly believe that Snitch provides information that is crucial to the residents of San Diego. Helping citizens to make safer decisions and be knowledgeable about the crimes that are going on right in their own neighborhoods." As of its last print Snitch San Diego had over 70,000 weekly readers and was available at over 500 locations.
