A new retouching site dedicated to the yearbook photo market, Pretouch.com launches today. Pretouch.com (http://www.pretouch.com) makes the higher volume, lower intensity yearbook and other bulk image retouching available at a low fixed cost. Studio owners and managers have the ability to support or replace seasonal retouching help through their account at Pretouch.com.

Pretouch.com was created as the yearbook arm for RetouchUp.com. RetouchUp.com focuses on complete photo retouching (http://www.retouchup.com) for all types of photography. A need was seen for a lower intensity, bulk volume retouch -- with a lower cost -- for yearbook images. Pretouch.com was created to be able to handle that type of work specifically.

Yearbook retouches, as opposed to standard portrait retouching, typically involve only simple, yet common problems such as acne that are easily visible on smaller prints. Unlike studio sessions, yearbook batches consist of one image per subject, with large batches of images uploaded at once.
