The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Educational Foundation announced today that seven more companies have joined the list of sponsors for this summer's CompTIA Creating Futures Charity Golf Classic.
The second annual CompTIA Creating Futures Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, August 4, at Falcon's Fire Golf Club, one of the premier public golf courses in the greater
Orlando, Fla., area. Sponsors of the event include:

Xilocore/Ron Cook's Connecting Point - A company which specializes in business continuity, disaster recovery and data protection.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Creating Futures, an initiative of the CompTIA Educational Foundation. Creating Futures provides opportunities to individuals who have historically
been under-represented in the IT industry workforce, including veterans transitioning out of the military; individuals with disabilities; at-risk youth; and dislocated workers. Creating
Futures works with employers to identify their hiring needs, then tailors education and training programs to help individuals obtain the skills employers are looking for.
The Creating Futures Golf Classic will be held in conjunction with Breakaway 2008, the annual conference for CompTIA members. Breakaway 2008 is the IT industry's premier education and
networking event will be held August 5-7 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
