Babel Store announced today the opening of its new shop on CafePress.com found at www.cafepress.com/babel. The shop is an innovative store that fuses different cultures and languages from
around the world. As the name of the shop suggests, it offers T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other gift items printed with religious and ancient symbols, flags, tattoos, greetings, proverbs,
sayings, and words from different countries which are painstakingly researched and designed. This will surely capture the attention of yoga and tattoo enthusiasts and people who longed
for a peaceful and united world.
"Since I was a kid, the Bible story of the Tower of Babel awed me," explains Ivan Michael Vicente, owner of Babel Store. "Building the Tower was a failed effort of the united humanity to
reach the heavens. God, in order to prevent them from attaining this, confused them by making them spoke different languages. This is the proposed theory of the Bible why we have so many
languages and dialects today. This gave me an idea to build this shop on Cafepress."
The store has four different categories - Proverbs and Sayings, Ancient Symbols, Flags, and Greetings. Being relevant to the mission of the shop, that is to reinforce the oneness of the
world despite of its diversity, available in the shop is a shirt printed with a popular Native American Proverb, "We are all related." Other sayings about war, peace, love, and dreams can
be found at the Babel Store.
"Our ancestors while building the Tower of Babel failed because of their differences," Vicente added. "This should not be the case with us. We have to understand each other. We deserve a
united world."
