Avonline plc, the UK'ss leading Digital Switchover specialists, to attend Chartered Institute of Housing Show in Harrogate on 16th-18th June 2009

Avonline plc, who provide Digital Switchover services to local councils, ALMO'ss, social landlords, private landlords and others, have today announced that they will be attending the CIS Show in Harrogate on 16th - 18th June 2009.

Avonline is the national leader in Integrated Receptions Systems design and installation. Since the Government'ss announcement to switch off the analogue TV spectrum, the company has successfully delivered numerous Digital Upgrade projects for a number of councils and social landlords including Bristol City Council, Birmingham City Council, Bolton Council, Sanctuary Housing, Dane Housing and Bedford Pilgrims Housing Association. Avonline are also in the unique position of being national framework partners to both the Northern Housing Consortium and Fusion 21 as well as one of four recently selected partners to LAPN to supply Digital Switchover services to their members.

At the show, Avonline will be announcing details about their new broadband over IRS product called IRSNet. This new product, exclusive to Avonline in the UK, will enable the delivery of broadband services to any occupant of a multiple dwelling unit over a digital coaxial cable distribution system. Discussing this new service, David Colla, Avonline'ss Business Development Manager said we are delighted to be launching this new service. With greater awareness on the digital divide being raised by Lord Carter at the DCMS, there couldn'st be a better time to launch a product aimed directly at one of the lowest broadband penetration segments of the market.
