Deltek Announces Finalists for First Annual Project Excellence Awards



Deltek, Inc. (www.deltek.com) (NASDAQ: PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software for project-focused organizations, today announced the finalists for the first annual Deltek Project Excellence Awards. These awards will recognize outstanding customer and partner achievements in improving business processes and performance, increasing profitability and winning new business.





The Project Excellence Awards program will recognize unique achievement among Deltek's more than 12,000 customers and partners across the following categories:



-    The Award for Business Impact will recognize the customer demonstrating the most significant operational benefits derived from using Deltek solutions. The finalists for this award are Camber Corporation, Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., and MPRI, an L-3 company.



-    The Award for Innovation will recognize the customer demonstrating the use of Deltek solutions in new and innovative ways. The finalists for this award are SSOE, Inc., MACTEC, Inc., and WB Engineers.



-    The Award for Implementation will recognize the customer that demonstrates an exceptional Deltek solution implementation. The finalists for this award are Lockheed Martin MS2 business, Phacil, and Chadwick, Martin, Bailey.



-    The Partner Award will recognize a Deltek partner that has been instrumental in delivering an exceptional Deltek solution implementation for a joint customer. The finalists for this award are SilverEdge and Jewell & Associates.



Deltek customers and partners submitted nominees on-line and finalists were determined by a panel including senior Deltek executives and a Senior Analyst from Forrester Research, Andy Salunga. Mr. Salunga is a recognized industry expert on process improvement methodologies, and co-leads Forrester's research on the project-based solutions marketplace.
