WebQA Teams with Daystar to Connect Citizens to Local Government



WebQA today announced it has teamed with Chicago-based Daystar Computer Systems to become the upgrade path for ConTrack, Daystar'ss nationwide citizen request and fulfillment tracking service currently servicing cities like Milwaukee, Gainesville, Oakland and others.



Within the next three months, WebQA will upgrade local governments from the hosted Daystar ConTrack platform to its hosted GovQA portfolio of services from the WebQA Action Center Series product line. In addition, WebQA will work to integrate its modules into Daystar'ss industry leading Legistar and InSite platforms that today provide legislative support modules to governments throughout the country.



We are excited about the opportunity to keep our ConTrack customers fully supported during this migration while offering them the additional WebQA Action Center functionality in automated service, knowledgebase, communication, collaboration and payment management, said Ron Cichon, Daystar'ss president.



For WebQA, the Daystar teaming arrangement for ConTrack customers represents the opportunity to provide its suite of offerings to a broader audience and introduce ConTrack customers to WebQA'ss recently announced code enforcement and work order capabilities within its GovQA Action Center product suite.



In addition, the collaboration with Daystar begins a relationship that we think can expand into broader government offering through our two companies, said John Dilenschneider, WebQA CEO.


Effective immediately, WebQA will support the conversion of all ConTrack customers to GovQA and have responsibility for migration and implementation of additional WebQA products and services.
