Socks for Troops Campaign



April 14, 2005 -- TechSpun, which has been working with Operation AC and Keystone Soldiers, is now adding Soldiers' Angels and the Knights of Columbus to the "Socks for Troops Campaign."

During the past two years, the "Socks for Troops Campaign" has provided thousands of donated TechSpun socks and gloves sets to our U.S. Military personnel serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Our products have been designed specifically for the extreme hot/cold temperatures, which our soldiers encounter in the Middle East.

U.S. Military-approved for all weather conditions, the TechSpun "Environmental Sock System" is a two part sock system consisting of a Coolmax Fresh FX (75% Coolmax & 25% Silver Antimicrobial and Fungistatic) liner sock to prevent blisters and transport heat and moisture away from the foot, and an unique wool boot sock with a high density reversed terry U.S. Wool nap outer facing. The "All Weather" Wool/Coolmax Fresh FX Lined Boot Socks are compatible for weather conditions of 0F to +100F and are designed to use with issued boots. The "All Weather" Glove/Glove Liners are similarly designed.

The "Socks For Troops Campaign" offers two packages for donations:

Package A: Consists of three pairs of the Coolmax Fresh FX liners socks, two pairs of the "All Weather" Boot Socks and one pair of the "All Weather" Gloves/Glove Liners.                            $38.75/Set
