APR Energy is proud to announce the recent commencement of its latest power project in the Trujillo Province of northern Peru. APR was contracted to provide this service to supplement existing power for Electroper's250; S.A., the government- owned national utility in Peru. Additional power supplies were requested in an emergency decree issued by the Peruvian government. This supplemental power was required due droughts which caused shortages of power generation that would normally be provided by hydro-electric plants.
Diesel power module (http://aprenergy.com/technology.aspx) generator sets were installed at the Trujillo site, providing 60MW of power.
The plant was rapidly deployed and constructed and is currently being both operated and maintained by APR'ss team of technicians and local APR- trained Peruvian workers. APR was
contracted to supply electricity for an initial operating period of 18.5 months.
APR has supplied turnkey power plants (http://aprenergy.com/temporary_power_projects.aspx)such as this one in Trujillo at
remote locations all over the world. These fast- track power projects in the Americas, Africa, the Middle East and Asia utilize Diesel, Gas, Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) and Dual Fuel
