Qorvus Systems and Keener Technologies Bring Longrange Wireless CCTV...

Keener Technologies of Honolulu, HI, and Qorvus Systems of Vancouver, WA, are rolling out high-performance Qorvus outdoor wireless CCTV networks in multiple locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Projects completed within the last twelve months include Hawaii Superferry in Oahu and Maui, the Hale Koa hotel in Waikiki, and the Kaha Lani resort in Kauai.

Tom Keener, President of Keener Technologies, says, "Our larger surveillance installations often require wireless because burying cable is impractical or cost-prohibitive. Qorvus QnodeJr outdoor wireless nodes are equipped with dynamic routing and automatic detection and configuration of attached IP cameras, resulting in a greatly reduced learning curve and setup time during installation. Featuring a range of up to 20 miles and net data throughputs of up to 35 mb/s, the equipment is pre-configured at the factory, and shipped with all needed wireless accessory items for plug-and-play installation at the client's facility.
