Impact Products Seeks ISO 9001 Gold Standard in Quality Assurance



Impact Products Ltd, the premier supplier of products for the "As Seen on TV" industry, has announced it will seek the coveted ISO 9001 quality management certification.

ISO 9001, established by the International Organization for Standardization, is the world's gold standard for quality management and involves a rigorous certification process that takes a minimum of five months to complete.

With all of the news regarding China recalls, this is a particularly timely certification, said Director of Asian Operations Michael Wowchuk. "However, this action is not directly related to recent news," he added. "As we continually improved our standards over the last few years, we realized that we were already in compliance with a significant portion of ISO standards. So it was a natural progression for us to go ahead and complete the process."

Wowchuk said Impact's team expects to complete the certification by early 2008.
