New Book Publisher Celebrates Passion and Power
January 24, 2005 -- Passion Power Press, Inc., the Midwest's newest publisher, announced its formation in conjunction with National Publisher's Day, January 16 and National Business Book Week, January 16th to 22nd.
"The publishing house will concentrate on authors and stories that embody life, love and work passions and celebrate individual power" said Passion Power Press, Inc spokesperson, Dana Daniels. "Additionally, we want to link the author, marketing and the audience to create a greater impact for readers, creating a more consistent communication between each. More than any other medium, (because of the time it takes to read) books engage a commitment with the reader. As a result, we will take a greater interest in content and the related message. It should enrich and enable the reader at a deeper level", she continued. "Sales at the top four outlets show as high as a 14% increase for 2003, proving that reading continues to be among the most valued leisure and educational pursuits."
After 18 months of research, planning and development, Passion Power Press, Inc. will release its new non-fiction business book, Passion v. Arrogance: A Dana & Goliath Story of Wine Women and Wrong (ISBN 0976259761) in May, 2005. The book will be available nationwide from the publisher, Amazon.com and at retailers through distribution with Baker and Taylor.
As part of the company's philosophy of bridging marketing, the author and their work, each author will select organizations for the company to co-op with. A portion of proceeds from the first release will be made to health, equality, education and literacy groups.
Passion Power Press, Inc. currently has three authors under contract and will release 6 books in the next 18 months. The company is a member of Small Publishers Association of North America (SPAN) and Publishers Marketing Association (PMA).
