Xulon Press Debuts FirstEver Christian Choice Book Awards



Xulon Press is proud to announce the first-ever Christian Choice Book Awards. This contest, which is open to all self-published authors who have published a Christian book in 2007-2008, awards $1,000 in prize money to Christian authors for outstanding literary achievement in 23 categories.

Xulon Press is currently accepting full-length books of fiction and non-fiction--either case-bound or paper-bound--that have been published in the United States as a self-published work or as a work published by a non-traditional or print-on-demand publisher. The content of eligible books must be consistent with a Christian worldview and the historic Christian faith in order for it to be deemed acceptable by our judges.

As the first contest of its kind in the Christian publishing arena, the Christian Choice Book Awards represents a unique opportunity for self-published Christian authors to make their voice heard. And, thanks to this one-of-a-kind contest from the number one Christian publishing company in the world, authors will finally achieve the recognition they deserve.

Critical acclaim and prestige are just some of the things that come with being a contest winner. In addition to this, contest winners will be announced to the media, to bookstores, and on Xulon Press' website in a professionally-crafted press release. Authors will watch as the window of opportunity begins to open, offering them added exposure--a key ingredient when it comes to selling books.

The contest will accept its last submissions on September 8, and a list of first, second, and third place winners in each individual category--as well as one overall grand prize winner and first and second place runners-up--will be announced on December 15.
