AdvancedPraccom Advanced Medical Communications to Represent Two Additional Journals to the Pharmaceutical Industry
Dave Mittman, PA and Gary Falcetano, PA announced today that their company, Advanced Practice Communications has entered into an agreement with Medquest Communications to represent the journals, "Behavioral Health Management" and "Ent Journal" to the pharmaceutical industry. According to co-founder Falcetano, "We felt there was a great fit here. These are wonderful journals in growing specialties for which we have an affinity. We are delighted to represent these excellent books."
"This compliments our relationship with Quadrant HealthCom and the journal "Emergency Medicine" and allows us to learn more about two diverse physician specialties". "As clinicians, we feel we can communicate the reader's needs, and their search for new product information, to the industry. We are excited about our increasingly diverse portfolio".
Advanced Practice Communications will also maintain its focus on the increasingly important nurse practitioner/physician assistant market. "From advisory boards to symposia, from publication planning, CME projects to the identification of thought leaders -all of these services will still be offered", Mittman said.
Also still in our stable is our representation of the "Burns Archive", a collection of over 40,000 historic medical photos, and the history behind them, which are published as high quality art books sponsored by the industry for selected medical specialties. Dermatology, oncology and pulmonary/respiratory have all been done over the last 18 months.
APC will also continue to offer consulting service to publishers who are thinking of entering markets with new publications and services. "We have a lot of experience in this area, and can lend a hand to those companies that may need some expertise in launching new products" concluded Mittman.
