Shane Hmiel is a Triple Threat to Win at Atlanta

March 18, 2005 -- This weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway Shane Hmiel will attempt to run the NASCAR triple-header, which includes the Craftsman Truck series, Busch series, and Nextel Cup series events. Hmiel who will be piloting Braun Racing entries in both the Busch and Nextel Cup series races, will also be behind the wheel of the #15 Billy Ballew Motorsports truck.

"I'm really looking forward to all of the events at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend," an excited Hmiel explained. "I was able to test both the (#15 Billy Ballew Motorsports) truck and the (#08 WINFUEL/Braun Racing) Nextel Cup car earlier this month at Atlanta."

"Both the car and the truck were really fast, and I know that my #32 WINFUEL Busch car will be fast because it is the same one that I've already run at California and Las Vegas. Unfortunately, we had transmission problems at Las Vegas, but hopefully we will have better luck this week and we will be able to put the WINFUEL Chevrolet in victory lane."

Shane Hmiel is no rookie when it comes to competing in all three major NASCAR events in one weekend, after completing the task at Homestead-Miami in 2004. "I am very excited about running all three races this weekend at Atlanta," Hmiel said. "I'm am guy who loves to drive race cars, so I want to run as many as I possibly can.

"I really feel like we are a big threat to win both the Craftsman Truck race and the Busch race, plus I think our Nextel Cup car is going to be strong as well. The Nextel Cup series has the best drivers and I am looking forward to putting the WINFUEL Chevrolet up front."

This weekend is also a big weekend for Braun Racing's primary sponsor WINFUEL, who is launching the first-ever multi-vitamin dedicated to those whose lives are committed to one thing - WINNING.

"I feel very fortunate to have such a supportive sponsor like WINFUEL," Shane said. "It's been hard not to tell people what WINFUEL actually is because people have been asking me since Daytona. Last week during the Las Vegas pre-race show on FX, I finally got to announce that WINFUEL is a new multi-vitamin. WINFUEL did a wonderful job of creating excitement and interest around the product. Everyone that I talked to thought that it was either an energy drink or a fuel additive. Now everyone knows that it's the first-ever multi-vitamin that's all about WINNING."

Follow all of the action as Shane Hmiel attempts the NASCAR triple-header this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Friday night's Craftsman Truck series action beings live on SPEED Channel at 9:00 p.m. EST. Busch series coverage starts Saturday at 2:30 p.m. EST on FX. Sunday's Nextel Cup pre-race show begins live on FOX at 12:30 p.m. EST.
