Horsham R C Racing To Host Delaware Valleys First Parent Kid Summer...



8212; Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center, located in Horsham, PA, has come up with an exciting new way for parents to spend time with their kids this summer. The R/C racing track and retail store will host an evening Parent/Kid Summer Camp this summer, during the week of June 12 to June 16th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.


Horsham, Penn April 1, 2006 -- Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center, located in Horsham, PA, has come up with an exciting new way for parents to spend time with their kids this summer. The R/C racing track and retail store will host an evening Parent/Kid Summer Camp this summer, during the week of June 12 to June 16th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.



Parent and child will work together with R/C pros in building and racing R/C cars. Skill sets include:



Organization of car parts and assemblies

Basic tool skills

Painting skills

How to set up an R/C car



The last day of the camp will concentrate on racing your custom R/C car on a ROAR-approved indoor racetrack. Cost for parent is $99 plus cost of car and radio; child cost is $89 plus cost of car and radio. A $50 deposit is required by May 10, 2006 to reserve your space. Reservations can be made by calling 215-672-4750. This is the only camp of its kind in the Delaware Valley!

Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center is located in the Babylon Business Campus, right off of Horsham Road, at 935G Horsham Road.Every Saturday, the facility hosts RC car races on both indoor and outdoor NASCAR-style oval and touring tracks. During the week, slot car racing parties are held for the younger set as well as more competitive RC car racing for adult parties.
