Zero Sports is Coming to North America

ZERO/SPORTS, the 17th largest auto maker in Japan, is going to set up ZERO/SPORTS AMERICA by tying an exclusive distribution agreement with EDO Performance.



ZERO/SPORTS offer custom auto parts for Subaru under the original brand name of ZERO/SPORTS. With more than 470 unique custom products, ZERO/SPORTS brand is sold at more than 7000 retail locations in Japan, and they are distributed in more than 10 countries overseas. Subaru Auto Accessories (SAA) specific part number has been assigned to 130 out of 470 products, and these products are sold at more than 800 Subaru dealerships in Japan.



At Tokyo Auto Salon, the largest auto trade show held every January in Makuhari Messe, ZERO/SPORTS has been ranked high on visitors's8217; survey conducted by the event organizer. ZERO/SPORTS brand has been maintaining popularity among Subaru owners. ZERO SP, oil for horizontally-opposed engine, has been a huge hit among many users for its performance. ZERO/SPORTS custom Impreza, mainly based on commercial items, recorded the fastest time, 57.285 at Tsukuba Circuit, gaining worldwide acclaim through ZERO/SPORTS's8217; technical capabilities.



Moreover, ZERO/SPORTS has set up Electric Vehicle R&D Department in 1998 with a vision for the future of automotive industry. In December of 2000, ZERO/SPORTS electric formula car achieved the second fastest record of 276.6km/h (the national record in Japan), only after GM's8217;s record of 293km/h.



In September 2003, ZERO/SPORTS released Elexceed RS, one-seater electric vehicle, and became the 17th largest auto maker in Japan, recognized by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In 2004, ZERO/SPORTS donated Series type hybrid vehicle for Aichi Expo. In June 2005, Elexceed RS with high performance Lithium ion was released, as ZERO/SPORTS continues to seek for creative customizing solutions while coexisting with the nature.



In recent years, there have been significant numbers of inquiries from overseas, especially from the United States. So far these inquiries have been taken care of in Japan, however, the business volume has become so high that ZERO/SPORTS started having a difficult time in processing the inquiries smoothly. Thus, in order to offer seamless transactions to overseas customers and to start a full-scale business in America, ZERO/SPORTS has appointed EDO Performance that has powerful sales network and in-depth knowledge of the market in North and South America as ZERO/SPORTS exclusive distributor.

This aero kit enables the vehicle to achieve the highest aerodynamic properties and design. Powerful accelerations, high cooling performance and dominating presence all come together at a higher level than any existing models.



The high cooling performance is enabled by extremely efficient ventilation on the front bumper and side duct. The bottom of the vehicle is kept flat to achieve even more driving stability.
