Dr. Gene Henssler, the financial talk show host and often-tapped financial advisory expert for CNBC, FOX News, CNN, USA Today, Money and more, is moving his popular 's8220;Money
Talks's8221; show from WGST to WCFO (1160 AM), Atlanta's8217;s new all-business format radio station. The show hits the airwaves on its new station this Saturday, July 15, from 11:00 a.m.
until 12:30 p.m. and will remain in this timeslot.
's8220;Money Talks's8221; provides listeners with financial tips, insights about investing, tax advice, a segment called 's8220;CPA Insight's8221;, a 's8220;Featured Company of the
Week,'s8221; segment and more. One of the most renowned financial experts in the country, Henssler is a former college finance professor and businessman whose firms GW Henssler &
Associates and Henssler Financial Group are leading money management firms located in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Dr. Henssler started out in broadcast as a one-time guest expert on the Neal Boortz radio show. His straight-forward, fact-based speaking style and his passion for the
subject of money caught the station's8217;s attention early on. Soon Henssler was offered the opportunity to host his own show. 's8220;Money Talks's8221; has been on the air since 1987
and has been one of the most highly rated shows of its kind.
WCFO is the brainchild of Jeff Davis, the station's8217;s vice president/general manager. Davis had noticed an absence in Atlanta of non-political, business-only talk shows in
the Atlanta area. 's8220;Given the size of the (Atlanta) market and the number of large corporations headquartered here, it's8217;s time someone devoted a station that appeals to the
interests of Atlanta business people, 's8220; Davis said.
WCFO is owned by J.W. Broadcasting Group and was launched on June 12, 2006. Many of the programs are syndicated financial favorites such as Bloomberg Radio and The Business TalkRadio
Network, but Davis is working on adding new shows with local personalities such as 's8220;Money Talks's8221; by Dr. Gene Henssler and The John Adams Show, featuring 19-year real estate
radio talk veteran John Adams. The content of all shows will be available online for listening and select shows will be available for downloading as podcasts.
When you think of financial advice in Atlanta, you think of Dr. Gene Henssler. I'sve known Gene for 14 years, worked with him for eight years, and seldom miss an opportunity to listen to
him on the radio. To get Gene and his team of top-flight financial advisors over here on 's8216;The CFO's8217; after 19 years on WGST is nothing short of a coup for us, comments
Davis.
