March 29, 2005 -- Scientific Vision Systems (SVS), one of the leading distributors of medical and professional video equipment, today announced introduction of the new Mitsubishi MD-3000 Series Medical Recorders. The MD-3000 recorders, certified as medical-grade in both the United States and Europe, replace the recently discontinued Sony and Panasonic medical video recorders.
According to Dick Wheeler, President of SVS, "Mitsubishi has introduced two MD-3000 models, the HS-MD 3000 U-2S and the HS-MD 3000 U-2P. These models are plug-and-play drop-in replacements for the discontinued Sony and Panasonic models, respectively. Applications include ultrasound, review stations, and operating rooms. Manufacturers and system developers can buy the new Mitsubishi recorders and simply install them in their finished products with no additional set-up required."
System manufacturers will appreciate that the new Mitsubishi recorders include 400-line resolution in the S-VHS format, Super-Fast Drive (fast forward or rewind entire tape in approximately two minutes), and the lightweight, compact design that fits within Sony and Panasonic recorder dimensions. For complete details about the MD-3000 series, contact Scientific Vision Systems at (760) 929-8133 or download the brochure on the "What's New" section of the company's website, www.svsimaging.com.
