Quest International Inc Announces Distribution Agreement With NECMitsubishi for MultiSync MD Series
November 8, 2004 -- Quest International, Inc., a global leader in medical imaging peripheral sales and repair, today announced it has signed a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) Agreement with NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display for distribution of the NEC MultiSync MD Series medical displays, the NEC MultiSync LCD 80 Series and the NEC 40" (40" and 39.6" VIS) and 30" (29.5" VIS) large-screen LCDs throughout the United States and Canada.
"As NEC maintains the #1 market share leadership in 2004 for standalone, flat panel monitors, Quest is extremely pleased to have been selected by NEC-Mitsubishi as a VAR", says Bill Greenblatt, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Quest. "Combining Quest's twenty-two year commitment to the medical imaging community with NEC's MultiSync MD Series will provide users with the unique opportunity to buy medical displays with complete confidence in both performance and support. By offering NEC's MultiSync MD Series LCDs along with the MultiSync LCD 80 Series and 40" and 30" large-screen LCDs, Quest is now able to tailor a specific viewing solution to meet the immediate and long-term needs of every radiologist."
"The MultiSync MD line includes many advanced features, such as its patent pending X-LightTM technology and GammaCompTM MD calibration and conformance software", says Herb Berkwits, Product Manager, Medical Display Products for Quest. "This technology enables exact matching of luminance and white point in multi-monitor configurations used for diagnostic imaging in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) applications. This feature is unique to NEC-Mitsubishi, and is indicative of their advanced engineering capabilities."
Quest will be showcasing the NEC MultiSync MD Series LCDs, as well as the MultiSync LCD 80 Series and 30" LCDs at the upcoming RSNA tradeshow. Quest International will be located at Booth 5147.
