June 3, 2009 -- M2S Inc., a Clinical Technology Organization and industry leader in endovascular treatment planning (http://www.m2s.com/content/endovascular-imaging) and patient data registries, announced today that the company will sponsor a dinner symposium titled Vascular Quality Improvement Registries at the 2009 Vascular Annual Meeting on June 12, 2009 in Denver, Colorado.

The symposium will demonstrate how participation in a multi-center cooperative patient data registry (http://www.m2s.com/content/data-registries) can improve vascular healthcare, highlighting the six-year experience of the Vascular Study Group of Northern New England (VSGNNE). Participants will learn what to expect from, and how to set up, their own regional registries.

Following the symposium will be a demonstration of the M2S web-based system for registry data entry and real-time reporting. This system allows for the sharing of data among centers and regions, and provides benchmark reports and risk-adjusted outcomes.

M2S is proud to participate in the clinical development of comparative effectiveness registries during this time of significant changes in healthcare delivery and reimbursement in the U.S., said Wes Chapman, CEO of M2S. We believe our cost-efficient, high-quality patient data registry solution will elegantly meet the needs of healthcare organizations as they work to enhance clinical quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs through the provision of clean, combinable data.

The Vascular Quality Improvement Registries symposium will be run by a group of expert panelists from the field, headed by Jack Cronenwett, M.D., of Dartmouth- Hitchcock Medical Center. Other members of the panel include Peter Lawrence, M.D., of UCLA Medical Center, Jens Eldrup-Jorgensen, M.D., of the Maine Surgical Group and John (Jeb) Hallett, M.D., of Roper St. Francis Heart and Vascular Center.
