October 28, 2004 -- MF Digital is a leading manufacturer of CD/DVD duplication, publishing and printing equipment for the professional audio and video, corporate, religious and government
markets. The Opti EC Pro is a natural extension of MF Digital's full line of both ink jet and thermal printers, as well as printer supplies such as thermal printer ribbons and
cartridges.
"The Pro is the next generation of Opti EC printers that we have offered, and really does deliver high-volume, high-quality disc printing, at an affordable price for in-house operations,"
according to John McGrath, East Coast Sales Manager for MF Digital.
The printer's six color capability is enabled through the addition of light cyan and light magenta to the CMYK pallet. The results are shades and graduations that are more gradual and
smooth than four color techniques, and colors that are brighter and more vibrant. The Opti EC Pro's 4800 DPI print resolution combined with its control system guarantee true and accurate
results. Larger ink cartridges ensure both low cost print per disc and uninterrupted printing runs, while the Opti Pro's Ink Flow Control mechanism prevents spoiled discs, by shutting
down duplication when the cartridges are empty.
The Opti EC Pro is compatible with the MF Digital Scribe EC Standalone, Scribe EC PC-Based and Director EC CD/DVD duplication systems. For networked applications, MF Digital's SmartCLIENT
software facilitates submission, editing and status checking of print jobs from any linked PCs. Scribe series print stations feature easy interchangeability to allow change over from
thermal to ink jet printing quickly.
MF Digital, based in E. Farmingdale, NY, has been developing duplication solutions for over a decade. The company's extensive line of high quality manual and auto-loading CD-R and
DVD-R/+R duplicators are used throughout the A/V, graphic arts and data/enterprise networking industries. All MF Digital CD/DVD duplication systems employ Microsoft's Windows XP embedded
platform to provide ease of use and scalability.
