SNL Financial Makes 2008 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies



Inc. Magazine today released its list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the United States, and SNL Financial (http://www.snl.com/) was one of four Charlottesville-based companies to make the list, and the largest, with 2007 revenues of $66.6 million, an increase of 106 percent over three years.

SNL ranked number 3,213 on the list, which is based upon the 3-year revenue growth rate through 2007. Within the state of Virginia, there were 27 privately-held, high-growth companies on the list with revenues of $50 million or more, and SNL ranked 17th in this group.
