Reflex Investors Acquires Residential Properties in Syracuse
May 26, 2005 -- Reflex Investors has acquired four multifamily residential properties in Syracuse, N.Y.
Patrick Leblanc, president of Reflex Investors Inc., says there is opportunity in the Syracuse rental market. While he cautions that the economy is still soft, he believes that attempts to revive the economy of Syracuse are beginning to take hold.
"It's not just the Destiny Mall," he said. "Several other large projects are positive signs that good things are happening in Syracuse."
Syracuse is a diverse market with substantial variation in rents, prices and property conditions, Leblanc said. Good deals can be found, he said, but many owners are optimistic, too.
Leblanc says that Reflex will continue to look for properties to acquire in Syracuse. To find those properties, Reflex analyzes potential cash flow and calculates the cap rate - income the property generates divided by its cost.
