Destiny Lending Relocates Again to Accommodate Growth Addition of new employees leads to expansion



#8211; Destiny Lending, LLC, a locally owned mortgage lending company, has recently moved to a new, larger location at 425 East Eisenhower. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and evening and weekends by appointment. The company serves customers interested in purchasing new construction, an existing home, investment property or re-financing a home where they currently reside.

Destiny saw a need to relocate due to continued steady growth over the past year, and a corresponding need for more office space. The company has recently added a new loan officer and a new loan processor, with plans to further increase staff over the next six months. "All of us at Destiny are enthused about the new staff members," said owner Shawn Beard. "We feel really blessed to have such talented people join our team."

Penny Hollinshead, a Senior Loan Officer, has joined the company , bringing more than 12 years of mortgage experience. She has processed a variety of loans, including conventional and construction loans. Hollinshead previously worked in the mortgage industry in Colorado Springs, Longmont and Fort Collins.

"My clients are my friends," said Hollinshead. "I have developed many great friendships with my customers by giving them the best possible service, with honesty and integrity."

Loan processor Kristi Harding joins Destiny with more than six years in the industry. She has worked both as a loan officer and processor, but enjoys the challenge of being a loan processor. Kristi and her husband, Dave Harding, joined the company together, and will work as a team.

"I love my job and I like the office I work in," said Kristi. "I came here because Shawn has a reputation for doing good loans for people the right way, in a Christian environment."

Destiny Lending has relationships with 60 well-known lenders, and has a strong track record, enabling the company to receive expedited underwriting turn times and big broker pricing. The firm has also earned the privilege of underwriting loans in house. Destiny specializes in creative financing to assist clients in unusual financial situations, such as those who are self-employed. Options the company can offer include option ARMs, interest-only loans, 100% loans on investment property and one-time close construction loans.
