Partners in the Rocker Tower high-rise condominium project on Dean Martin Drive (http://www.4275deanmartindrive.com) toured automated parking facilities in Austria recently to determine
which system might work in their proposed building. Michael Bellon and Tom Rojas of Elysium Realty joined property owner Tommy Rocker on the trip which included a visit to the
LTW/Dopplemeyer factory in Wolfort, Austria and a tour of parking systems in Vienna built by the Westfalia Company, based in Germany.
"Automated parking takes up less than 50% of the space needed for conventional parking structures at a comparable to slightly higher cost," said Bellon, the Project Director, "besides
being completely secure and more environmentally friendly."
The Rocker Tower project at 4275 Dean Martin Drive (http://www.4275deanmartindrive.com) is in the final design phase with plans to break ground in 2007.
