April 28, 2005 -- CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance is bringing out the big guns to raise money for Easter Seals Arizona, a provider of services to children and adults with disabilities.
Arizona's #1 Century 21 company will soon be holding a golf tournament and car raffle, recently held a car wash, and will also be matching donations made by CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance Real
Estate agents, with all proceeds going directly to Easter Seals Arizona.
Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, for more than 80 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and
job training, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address challenges and personal goals. Easter Seals Arizona is a unique organization because,
unlike many other charities, every penny that is raised in Arizona remains in Arizona.
CENTURY 21 has a history of providing assistance to Easter Seals. Corporate CENTURY 21 is the top contributor in Easter Seals history, generating over $80 million to date. Locally,
CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance has been recognized as the #1 contributor to Easter Seals in the Southwest region of the CENTURY 21 System. In 2004, CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance donated $30,527 to
Easter Seals, establishing the company's membership in the Easter Seals National Corporate Chairman's Roundtable. In addition, Charles McLean, Owner and Broker of CENTURY 21 Metro
Alliance, resides on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Easter Seals.
CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance is holding their 17th annual Golf Tournament to benefit Easter Seals on May 5th, 2005 at the Coldwater Golf Club at 100 North Clubhouse Drive in Avondale,
Arizona. This will be an all-day event, with registration and an open driving range at 6:30AM, a shotgun start at 7:30AM, and an auction lunch at 1:00PM. Last year's tournament raised
about $15,000 for Easter Seals, but this year, CENTURY 21 is hoping to excede $20,000.
The tournament is still accepting additional golfers; however space is limited and slots are filling up quickly. Flag sponsors, at $250 per flag and golf cart sponsors, at $350 per cart,
are also needed. In addition, CENTURY 21 is accepting donated prizes for the raffle that follows the tournament. The company has received about 60 prizes thus far and will be selling
tickets for the raffle during the tournament. For more information on how you can contribute to or participate in this year's event, please call Bob O'Neil at 623-399-3900.
CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance will also be holding a car raffle for a 2005 Mercedes to raise funds for Easter Seals Arizona. 2,200 tickets will be sold at $50 per ticket, totaling $110,000.
Half of these funds will be applied to the car and promotional expenses, but CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance is hoping to retain over $50,000, all of which will go directly to Easter Seals. The
raffle winner will have the option of choosing between a 2005 Mercedes SLK 350 or ML 350. Tickets will go on sale mid-May and the drawing should take place in September. If you would like
to purchase raffle tickets, please call Kevin Allen at 623-399-3900.
In order to maximize fundraising efforts, each of CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance's 17 offices has been assigned an Easter Seals Chairperson, who is responsible for initiating charity events
for their individual offices and agents. For example, the Surprise office location held a carwash and barbeque on Saturday, April 23rd and raised over $500.
Other sources of donations are the Realtors at CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance. Mr. McLean encourages his agents to contribute what they can and sets an example by playing an active role in the
charity. This year, he has agreed to match all agent donations up to $50 per transaction and with over 775 agents, this promise has the potential to generate scores of additional funds
for Easter Seals.
Established in 1980, CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance has been serving and caring for clients for 25 years and has expanded to 17 offices in Arizona. With over one billion dollars in Arizona
Real Estate sold by CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance agents in 2004, the company was ranked the #8 CENTURY 21 in the nation for units closed and Arizona's #1 CENTURY 21 company in production.
With record-breaking closings in the first quarter of 2005, CENTURY 21 Metro Alliance continues to expand and improve. To contact Century 21 Metro Alliance, please visit http://C21MetroAlliance.com or call 800-248-3921.
