Frustrated with the lack of clear advice for home buyers in the New York City area, Rob Gonzalez, an award-winning agent at Bond New York set out to change some of the preexisting misconceptions in his industry by offering up his expertise for free. He turned to AMP3 Public Relations, a publicity and graphic design shop for a solution. The result is a five minute motion-graphic video, officially releasing today, entitled The NYC Realty Guide: A Better Way To Buy Real Estate, (http://www.TheNYCRealtyGuide.com) designed to change the way buyers and sellers think about the current real estate market by providing clarity, and a viral appeal.
I believe that if there is a way to do something, there'ss also a way to do it better, says Gonzalez, Every day, I meet buyers and sellers whose understanding of the real estate market
comes from the tales they hear at the water-cooler, anecdotes from friends, newspaper articles, you name it. Those stories are inevitably filled with emotion, sorrow, loss, surprise. If
they weren'st, they wouldn'st be worth telling!
But all of this drama, Gonzalez claims, creates a kind of mental clutter that can be very scary for someone contemplating the largest purchase (or sale) of their lives, Many of the most
educated people I know, people with Master'ss degrees and PhDs, believe that finding a great agent, or getting a great deal is a matter of dumb luck. As such, his goal has been to destroy
the mental noise and reveal the process as one that can be simple, relatively drama-free, and most importantly, perfect. I believe there is a best-practice method to this work, I believe
I have found it, and the AMP3 team and I have set out to explain it in five minutes or less.
With this 'sHow To's style video (http://www.TheNYCRealtyGuide.com) for buyers already circulating on YouTube (http://www.YouTube.com/NYCRealtyGuide), an opposing version for sellers is in development now. The idea is that this simple, systematic,
straight-forward approach to the buying process will spread virally through the web, building Gonzalez'ss business along the way. People know value when they see it, and they want to
share it with others. I'sm hoping that folks who want to work with the best will call me when those five minutes are up.
