December 10, 2004 -- Annual dealer conventions can be potentially gruelling affairs - unless The Perfect Date is involved. A special event-planning firm, The Perfect Date proved its
mettle with an appreciation gala that was the highlight of Ultrafabrics LLC's convention attendance.
The event, held at the Kentucky Derby Museum on November 29, the night before the start of the 2004 RVIA convention in Louisville, KY, was by all accounts a smash hit. With racetrack
decor, an array of savory eats and multiple bar stations, and great music, the Perfect Date recreated the atmosphere of the Kentucky Derby. Ultrafabrics' customers were invited to first
place 3,000 "Horsey Bucks" on the outcome of the race and use their winnings to bid for fabulous items.
"The party was really the talk of the convention floor," says Danielle Boecker -Primak, director of sales and marketing at Ultrafabrics. "It provided the best start to the event, being
able to interact with our customers in a relaxed and fun environment. We brought our team from New York, since many of our customers had not met them personally. There was a real spirit
of bonhomie and camaraderie on the convention floor over the next few days. Those who missed the party even heard about it from someone who attended. We couldn't have pulled it off
without The Perfect Date."
The Perfect Date's distinctive brand of smoothly organized revelry was in full bloom at the Kentucky Derby Museum. Guests cheered lustily for their favorites as they watched the race on a
45-inch screen in the museum's great hall, and the subsequent bidding - for two baskets of fine wines and a grand prize of a recliner covered with Ultrafabric - was just as
enthusiastic.
"With our experience in event planning and our dedicated team of planners, we made sure that Ultrafabrics had a fantastic start to their convention," says Cheryl Lawson, CEO and president
of The Perfect Date. "More importantly, we made sure that the event fit in with our client's unique needs and requirements - and really, that's the key to any perfect party. At The
Perfect Date, we know that very well indeed."
