Living Passages Helps Christians Set Sail for the Bible

Living Passages (http://www.livingpassages.org) brings the Bible to life with its upcoming cruise following the footsteps of the Apostle Paul through the eastern Mediterranean. Sailing the same sea routes Paul would have taken in his travels to spiritually-hungry communities throughout the region, guests will be immersed in the message of the Bible against a backdrop familiar to the apostle himself.

To bolster the authenticity of the adventure, Living Passages has chartered a fully-rigged sailing vessel. The four-mast "tall ship" from Star Clippers Cruise Lines features every amenity of a luxury yacht, while providing its 170 passengers a true sailing experience en route to its biblical ports of call.

The journey will be led by top Bible teachers like Bob Cornuke, who, using the same platforms Paul did some 2,000 years ago, will help put the Bible into historical and geographical context.

Starting at Mars Hill in Athens, the tour will also visit Pergamum and Ephesus, sites of some of Paul's most important sermons and some of the most spectacular archeological remains from the Roman era.

Slightly off the Pauline track, the tour will also stop at the island of Patmos, where guests will have the opportunity to visit the very cave where John received the Book of Revelation.

An optional tour extension will take visitors to Malta, where Mr. Cornuke recently announced his discovery of the sunken anchors from Paul's shipwreck documented in the 27th chapter of the Book of Acts.
