WebEst Releases New Survey Regarding the Adding of Deductibles toRepair...



According to recent survey of collision repair shops, most consumers request the repair shop to add their deductible to the repair estimate.Of those surveyed, 30% responded by saying that the consumer'ss in their repair shops request the added deductable 50% of the time or greater.



The survey was conducted by Web-Est, LLC, an online collision estimating software provider. Respondents participated in the survey between June 17th, 2009 through June 26th 2009. The surveys also found that of those surveyed, 65% are willing to discount their repair estimate to assist the consumer with paying their deductible.
