ActiGraph Releases First Triaxial Activity Monitor

ActiGraph announces the release of the GT3X, the first activity monitor with 3-axis data collection capability by the industry leader in activity measurement devices. The highly-anticipated GT3X ActiGraph collects and records human motion using a triaxial accelerometer, allowing for the maximum level of activity and movement pattern analysis available today. GT3X features include 4MB of non-volatile memory, an extended battery life of up to 20 days and an inclinometer to determine subject position and periods when the device has been removed.

The GT3X combines advanced data collection technology with the proven accuracy and reliability of an ActiGraph product, said Jeff Miller, ActiGraph'ss Vice President of Engineering.
