April 12, 2005 -- Research and Markets (
http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c15422) has announced the addition of Quick-Service Restaurants National Annual Report to their offering.
This annual report provides key insights about the highly competitive quick-service restaurants category. Detailed information for 2004 is presented along with annual trends covering the previous four years.
Each year, telephone interviews were conducted on a continuous basis with a nationally representative sample of 2,400 fast-food users in the Quick-Track syndicated research program. These users provide information about their awareness and usage of fast-food chains as well as an overall rating for each tracked chain they patronized in the past three months. They also provide details about their last purchase occasion at a fast-food restaurant as well as their demographic information.
This report includes more than 80 slides presenting the information in easy-to-read charts along with bullet-point synopses and insights. Patronage patterns are detailed for several QSR segments including heaviness of category usage, meal daypart usage, service mode usage, and for key demographic segments. Last purchase occasion profiles include information about items eaten, daypart and service mode of the occasion, party size, amount spent, use of promotions, and sources of promotion awareness. A review of the importance of 12 key attributes in the selection of a QSR is also presented. Specific chain information is included for 24 major chains, including eight burger chains, five chicken chains, one Mexican chain, three sandwich chains, five pizza chains, and two seafood chains. Demographic profiles are provided for all users of key segments as well as for heavy users of each segment.
This report can be used by chains to get a better understanding of the key trends that are driving this dynamic industry in order to identify the best areas for potential to build business.
