Already a favorite in the southwestern United States, In-N-Out continues to promote its signature old-fashioned theme and dedication to quality and service to visitors online.

"It was very important to In-N-Out that the close-knit, friendly, old-fashioned look and feel that the company has maintained over its history was reflected in the design and presentation of its website," explained Danielle Takata, Vice President of Creative Media for DreamBox. "Our Flash introduction movie, interactive elements, and overall site layout all had to balance making the right visual impression while still providing the back-end functionality needed by management."

Striking this balance was no easy task, but it's what DreamBox specializes in. "Our work with In-N-Out has allowed us to successfully present a well established brand in a previously under-represented medium for the Company," commented Dan Bejmuk, Vice President, Operations. "Our primary goal with the site was to produce an eye-catching, easy to update product that would serve to drive increased store traffic and reinforce the success of their brand."

DreamBox deployed their proprietary customizable content management system for In-N-Out, which enables individuals in departments ranging from Human Resources, Real Estate, Marketing and IT to make site updates - such as new restaurant openings and job postings - via an intuitive word processor-like interface. This allows authorized personnel to avoid Webmaster bottlenecks and reduces unnecessary workload on their IT department.

Additionally, an interactive restaurant locator built in Flash and tightly integrated with Mapquest's new XML-based Site Advantage product makes accurately finding restaurant locations very quick and easy. Together with the site's UniteU-produced shopping cart, these offline locations and the online store work seamlessly together to drive In-N-Out product sales.
