Marion'ss famous Steak au Poivre was $2.25 in 1950 and that was pricey. Every Year at the reincarnated Marion'ss the prices get rolled back for one day only, July 5th.
Traditionally the deadliest day in the restaurant business but because it just happens to be Marion'ss anniversary it is the restaurants busiest nights. Could it be those 1950s prices You
bet.
Dishes go from a low of 95 cents to an exorbinate high of $2.25 for that one night only. Of course the famous Marion'ss cocktails stay at 21st Century prices.
There is a catch. Actually a few. First, there are no reservations, just first come first served. Second, no doggie bags. Third, no take out and no delivery. Fourth, one appetizer, one
entree and one dessert per person. Still an extraordinary deal.
Marion'ss likes to give back to her loyal going on 16 year customers in this special way.
